Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations and we are looking to bring on an Outpatient enthusiastic Physical Therapist ( PT ) into our growing team!
Summary:
Our PT's are to follow a medically prescribed physical therapy program, evaluate, treat and educate - neonate, pediatric, adolescent or geriatric patients who have disabilities, traumatic injuries, pain, disease or any dysfunction.
You are to help them reach their maximum performance.
You will also provide direction to your PT aide/assistant.
Responsibilities:
Implements and updates treatment program to maximal effectiveness Thoroughly evaluates and sets plan of care to meet patient's identified treatment needs Effectively oversees patient care delivery by assistants/aides.
Involves patient/family in establishing treatment plan and accommodates for individual needs (cultural differences, language, etc.
) Displays analytical and basic problem solving skills.
Communicates problems to manager as appropriate.
Accurately enters patient charges/provides patient billing information to office staf Edu.

Requirement:
Graduated from an accredited school of Physical Therapy -- Must have at least a Bachelors but we do prefer a Masters degree Must be New York State license holder or eligibility with temporary permit.
