Last week the temperature in the main compartment went up to the low 50's and the freezer to the low 20's. The service technician said the the problem in the freezer is a weak circulator fan which is simple and inexpensive to replace. The main compartment needs an evaporator assembly, part number WR17X11844 which is no longer made by GE but can be found on the internet with several parts sites. We have decided to buy a new unit instead of repairing this one. We are still using it until the replacement unit arrives later this week.
